Specially suitable BSA for protease-sensitive immunoassays and to stabilise peptides, proteins and enzymes in buffer solutions and prior to freeze-drying and highly diluted antibody solutions for long-term storage. Because of the low IgG content this BSA is recommended for blocking of non-specific adsorption of proteins in immunoassays such as Western blots, ELISA.
